Mr. Ericson earned his B.A. from the University of Richmond, where he was also awared a full-tuition scholarship. Mike holds an M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was selected as a graduate teaching assistant for a law-related class for two years. He earned his J.D., With Honors, from Drake University Law School, which he attended on a full-tuition offer. At Drake, Mike also served as a faculty research assistant and was named a finalist in a student oral argument competition. He earned his law degree in May of 2004, and was then admitted to the Iowa Bar and licensed to practice in September of that same year.

     Mike has been granted law licenses and practiced extensively in multiple jurisdictions around the country, providing him with a variety of experiences and strategies that are not limited to only one jurisdiction. He has managed a statewide trial practice with multiple office locations. Mike has also worked in a major national market on high-profile, precedent-setting matters.
